Carson National Forest-Northern NM

July 17,2010, Ryota and I went camping to Rio Los Pinos in Carson National Forest just south of Colorado state border. Fishing was not great due to warmer water. We also had thunder storm on 18(Sat.) evening. Only 2hr drive from home, it was a wonderful and peaceful time indeed.

Milkyway shiningly runs from southern ridge of the mountain to the top of the sky. Ocasinally, shootingstars and satelites were seen in the dark sky.

Sunday noon, we were driving through 10,000ft high Carson National Forest Road, where we could see a huge forest on mountain medow as far as we could see. It is not a steep 10,000ft high mountain, it is fla~~~~~t.
Insted of watching stars from the bottom of the canyon, it must be a amazing view here with a much much larger sky. One can feel like catching clouds in the low sky by hand here.
